On March 30th, Palestinians mark one year of the Great Return March in Gaza, mass popular mobilisations demanding Palestinian refugees’ right to return to their homes.
Israel has met those unarmed protesters with brutal fire killing over 250 Palestinians since the start of Great Return March, including 3 paramedics, 2 journalists, 42 children and 8 persons with disabilities. Amnesty International has already called for a military embargo on Israel because of the violence against civilians.
United Nations independent Commission of Inquiry stated that Israel may have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity.
On the first anniversary of Great Return March, Members of the European Parliament from across the political spectrum recorded their message of support for Great Return March and called for the military embargo on Israel.
