  5. I am not sure if the EU is a crucial actor in solving Israeli-Palestinian questions, at least not till it decides to create its own external politics, independently from the USA. I am sure that this needs to happen and I will put my efforts into this.

First question is not very well formulated. If you are asking if illegal settlements must influence relations between EU and ISrael then my answer is correct.

Party: Piratska stranka

  1. No

The question of Israeli illegal settlements is a very important political question and EU carries lot of responsibilities in solving this issue. Larger involvement of EU at the international level is vital for Palestine. EU is already the largest aid donor and it also a strategic partner in solving Palestinian status in UN.

  1. No

By limiting import of Israeli products from Israeli settlements beyond the Green line into the EU we would hurt Israeli as well as Palestinian companies’ access to the market which is vital for them. For a lot of companies as well as Palestinian workers this is existential issue. Most of the workers in these companies are Palestinians, in Israeli as well as Palestinian companies.
